What if history could be rewritten?

Iona: A Veil of Time Novel

by Claire R. McDougall

Maggie thought she understood the paths time could take.

She was wrong.

Drawn once more into 8th-century Scotland, Maggie finds herself caught in a struggle between the rising Christian Church and the ancient traditions of the Picts. Reunited with Fergus and his now-grown daughter, she soon discovers this journey through time holds an even greater surprise.

For the first time, Maggie is pulled not only into the past, but into an alternate future—one where Scotland’s old beliefs survived and history took a radically different course.

Caught between a past on the brink of war and a future that should not exist, Maggie must confront an impossible question:

What if history itself can be rewritten?

Blending time travel, romance, Celtic mythology, and alternate history, Iona is the third installment in Claire R. McDougall’s Veil of Time series.
